Zum Glück gibt es noch ein paar alte Fotos, die Rainer bereits 2006 und danach zusammengesucht hat. Einige Fotos habe ich versucht zu restaurieren. Diese beiden Fotos zeigen Friedlieb Bierwas, als er bereits in den USA Fuß gefasst hatte. Auf dem Portraitfoto scheint Friedlieb deutlich älter zu sein, leider gibt es bisher keinen Hinweis auf ein Jahr.
